The cool blue light of Bliss emanates from the eastern end of 49th Street. The row of brownstones and UN embassies is always pretty quiet, but there's plenty of action once you open the curiously heavy door into the bar's busy interior. It's a real roar, as you walk in to find more hip professionals than you'd usually ever see. Bliss certainly looks far more hip than more popular city hot spots. That roar of the crowd comes from people socializing in a large metal structure.
